Fiedeldey Consulting LLC comprehensively supports school districts, educators, families, advocates, and agencies in identifying, developing, and deploying quality level professional support.

Founder Steve Fiedeldey is a restorative practitioner who has a diverse background in education. He is a passionate and dedicated advocate for children, with over 12 years of experience in teaching, support services, and educational leadership. Steve is adept at leading multiple teams and creating detailed action plans to implement data-driven decisions that result in increased student achievement and social-emotional well-being. He focuses on the critical work of supporting staff to implement evidence-based curriculum and practices, while individualizing instruction.

Since 2007, Steve has served as an adjunct psychology professor at Montclair State University. He transformed the curriculum to authentic problem-based learning that incorporates knowledge of law, standardized testing, case studies, and creating multi-tiered systems of support. Additionally, from 2009 to 2014 Steve has served as a school psychologist, before becoming Director of Special Services.

Steve holds his BA in Psychology, MA in Educational Psychology, and MA in Educational Leadership, while also holding certificates as a school psychologist, principal and in restorative practices. Steve is most proud of his work in comprehensive crisis intervention protocols and procedures, as well as, school-based universal mental health screening for depression, anxiety, and adverse childhood experiences.

Having spent over the past decade supporting all learners, Steve has developed relationships with phenomenal educators and specialists. The Fiedeldey Consulting LLC team is supported by general and special educators, school psychologists, clinical social workers, reading specialists, learning disabilities teacher consultants, board certified behavior analysts, administrators, as well as speech, occupational, and physical therapists.
